A 20-year-old Lakewood man and 2 Euclid brothers (both 20 years old) paid a visit to a former place of
employment on June 29 at 11:13PM. They tried to crawl through the drive-up window of the Detroit Rd.
fast food restaurant and were seen by a witness, who called WPD. They had all been drinking; they will
receive summonses for Underage Consumption and were released to their ex-boss at the scene.

A 24-year-old Cleveland man and a 24-year-old Elyria man fought over the affections of an Elyria
woman on June 30 at 12:09PM on Main St. Security officers broke it up; WPD cited both for Disorderly
Conduct (not intox).

A Lagrange man reported that his 2008 Jeep was keyed on June 30 at 9:16PM. He suspects a white
male in his mid 30’s with shoulder length dark curly hair driving an unknown make or model light blue
vehicle with a peace sign sticker (my emphasis added). The incident occurred in a Union St. parking
garage and may be related to a parking dispute.

A 53-year-old Sheridan, WY man was arrested for Improper Handling of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle
after a July 3 traffic stop at 2:03PM. The officer noticed a 9mm semi auto handgun in the driver’s door
compartment after the suspect failed to signal several turns at Crocker and Clemens Rds.

An officer tried to stop a 2011 Chevrolet 2500 truck on Detroit Rd. near Columbia Rd. for failing to dim
high beams on July 4 at 1:31AM. The driver fled, getting on I90 eastbound, exited at Detroit Rd., and
then got back on I90 westbound. The driver jumped out on the westbound Columbia Rd. exit and ran,
but was caught there. He is a homeless 46-year-old just released from prison in April. He faces charges
of Felony Fleeing, RSP Motor Vehicle, RSP (a book of blank checks), and Criminal Tools (flashlight
and multipurpose tool). He was also cited for DUS, Speed, Willful Wanton disregard for Safety, and
Failure to dim high beams. The truck had been stolen in North Olmsted the day before; the keys were in
it.

Two shoplifters believed to be high on drugs were arrested at Giant Eagle on July 4 at 1:34AM. They
had stolen $21 worth of items. The 20-year-old Bay Village woman gave false ID info to the officers;
she was found to have a probation violation warrant from RRMC. She faces theft and Misidentification
charges. The 22-year-old North Olmsted man faces Theft charges as well as having theft-related
warrants from Westlake and Bay Village PDs.

A July 4 10:56PM fender bender led to the arrest of two Apopka, FL. men (47 and 25-years old) for
DCI. They had parked at Parkside Middle School (older man driving) and backed into another car, then
started spitting on and throwing punches at the other driver and his passenger.

A GPS unit and CDs (total value $500) were taken from a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe on the night of July 5.
It had been parked in the owner’s driveway on Coes Post Run. A door lock may have malfunctioned, as
there were no signs of forced entry.

A 1997 Plymouth Voyager and jewelry were reported stolen from a Taylors Mill Turn home on July 6
at 5:13PM; the owner suspected a relative. It was recovered by WPD at 9:30PM the same day, driven
by the owner’s 21-year-old grandson, who was arrested for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle,
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Driving Under Suspension.

A $500 IPhone was stolen during a party at a Fall River Dr. home on the evening of July 6. The
Westlake man who owned it left it recharging in the kitchen. No suspects.

A 38-year-old Hedgewood Ave. man was arrested for DCI and Domestic Violence after he threatened
his 33-year-old wife and 6-month old daughter with a knife on July 8 at 10:46PM. He fled the house and
was arrested in a nearby field. He also had an active WPD Driving Under Suspension warrant.
