On August 13, 2012, a resident on Jefferson Court reported he was notified by Key Bank that his
debit card had unauthorized charges. He then discovered his Citibank credit card was also used
fraudulently. Police are investigating.

An Oakmoor resident reports on August 13, 2012 a silver/red Mongoose girl’s mountain bike
stolen from the yard within the last few days. On the same day a boys black and blue Sorento
was stolen from the bike rack at Bay High School. A resident also reported someone took
his Giant 21 speed mountain bicycle from the Bay Pool. Later in the evening, this Giant and
one other bicycle were located abandoned at Electric and Bassett. The owners of both were
advised and the bicycles returned. Police remind all bicycles owners to make sure you obtain a
bicycle license from the police department and lock up your bike when unattended.

On Monday, August 13, 2012 at about 8pm, a mother reported her 8 year old daughter was
approached by an older male on a bicycle near Elmwood and East Oviatt. The male asked the
girl if she wanted any candy. The girl ran off to her friend’s house and contacted the police.
The male was described as 60-70 years old, balding grey hair, blue eyes, clean shaven, wearing
a blue shirt and grey shorts and riding a blue and green bicycle. Police are investigating.

A Wolf Road resident reported on August 14, 2012 that within the last week someone stole his
Baja Motorsport mini bike from their yard.

On August 14, 2012 a resident on Knickerbocker near Dover Center reported tools stolen from
his pickup truck over the weekend. Police are investigating.

A Bay resident was contacted by a collection agency for an AT&T bill that was unpaid. The
resident advised that the collection agency that he never had an AT&T account. The resident
checked his credit accounts through Equifax and discovered someone open accounts with

AT&T and Sprint in February of 2012 and made attempts with two other credit card companies.
Detectives are investigating.

On August 15, 2012 a resident reports his black IPod Touch was stolen from the Bay Pool in
Cahoon Park.
