Bay Village Police Report 12/10/2012

During the early morning of December 8th several residents of Rexford, Aberdeen, and West Oviatt reported that their unlocked vehicles had been entered overnight.  A GPS, an I-Pod, and prescription pills were stolen.  Police are investigating and remind residents to please lock your vehicles.

On 12/08/2012, a resident in the 24000 block of Lake Rd. returned home and discovered his house had been burglarized.  Jewelry, a purse, and silverware were stolen.  Police are investigating.

On 12/08/2012, at 1008 hrs, an Olmsted Falls resident called to report she was staying with a friend on Saddler, and could not find her car.  The last time she remembered seeing it was at the Iron Wood the night before.  She and a friend had been driving around looking for it, but were not having any luck.  At 1518 hrs, a Longbeach resident called to report a strange vehicle was parked in his driveway.  An officer responded and discovered it was the missing vehicle.  The owner was contacted to remove her vehicle.  She did not know how it wound up on Longbeach.

On 12/07/2012, at 0200 hrs, a BVPD officer stopped a vehicle on Lake Rd. near Porter Creek for a traffic violation.  As a result of the stop, the 20 yoa male driver was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.  A 17 yoa male and 17 yoa female were also arrested for a curfew violation and possession of drug paraphernalia.  They will face charges at CCJC.

On 12/04/2012, at 1140 hrs, a Lincoln Rd. resident called to report she had returned home from running some errands and discovered her house had been burglarized.  Entry had been forcibly gained to the residence.  There was a flat screen television that was stolen.  Police are investigating.
