AN EVENING OF BALLROOM DANCING
Looking for something different to do that is fun, social and affordable?  The City of Avon Lake Parks and Recreation Department has just the perfect thing for you!  Bring a friend out to the Old Firehouse Community Center for an evening of Ballroom dancing, on Saturday, March 16th.  The evening includes music, dancing, a 45-minute lesson from professional Ballroom Dancing instructor Barbara Gerhart, and refreshments.  All ages are welcome and partner is not required.  The cost is only $10 per person  and you pay at the door.

GARDEN TOUR OF OGLEBAY
Welcome spring in the lush, flowering gardens of Oglebay, West Virginia.  Walk the red-brick path through the ever changing flower displays to see the springtime blooms of tulips, hyacinths, pansies and daffodils, in addition to the many hanging baskets, soft landscaping and water displays.  Lunch will be served at the Wilson Lodge.  After lunch visit the historic Oglebay Mansion Museum and enjoy shopping at the Hilltop Shops.   Trip is scheduled for Wednesday, April 24th from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00  p.m.  Cost is $65.00.  You may register by calling (440) 930-4135 or online at www.avonlake.org

COFFEE WITH THE MAYOR

TAE KWON DO CLASS
Master Gus Huska teaches this family oriented program on this popular Korean martial art.  All belt levels are welcome and beginners are welcome.  For ages 5 thru adult.  Class meets at the Old Firehouse Community Center every Tuesday and Thursday, from 6:00 p.m.-7:45 p.m.  Cost includes 12 classes at $20.00 per person; $38.00 for two family members, $45.00 for three family members or $52.00 for a family of four or more.  Please register and pay instructor at the door.
