An Allen Dr. resident was awakened at 4:31AM on March 4 by a white male trying to force entry through her patio door. He is described as approx 5″7, in his 20s, balding, wearing a dark green jacket and dark jeans. He ran when confronted; footprints showed that the suspect headed north to a parking lot
on Detroit Rd. and apparently got into an unknown vehicle which left eastbound. The sliding door was unlocked, but a stick in the track prevented the suspect from getting in.

A 17-year-old Cedarwood Dr. girl ended up in the County Detention Home after a 1:08AM fight with her mother and mom’s fiancée on March 5. The suspect pushed her mother down, then bit the male victim after he tried to break it up. They had argued over marijuana found in the girl’s purse. She faces DV and Possession of Marijuana charges in Juv. Court.

A Hilliard Blvd. man reported 2 unauthorized charges were made on his debit card on March 4. Both were made at a grocery store in Berwyn IL for a total of $112. No suspects; the card was apparently cloned.

A 46-year-old Westlake man showed up intoxicated at his children’s Center Ridge Rd. daycare center on March 6 at 3:32PM. He was arrested for DCI while loading the children into his car. They were released to mom at the scene.

An intoxicated 50-yearold woman annoyed her neighbor with loud music from her Detroit Rd. apartment on March 6 at 9PM. The music could be heard outside the building. She was arrested for DCI and cited for a noise disturbance after she refused to ID herself.

$40 cash and a $250 IPhone were taken from a Lakewood man’s unlocked locker at the Recreation Center on March 7 between 6PM-7:15PM. No suspects.

A 26-year-old Cleveland woman claimed to have been rear-ended by a hit-skip vehicle on March 8 at 12:58AM on Columbia Rd. near Detroit Rd. She was found to be under the influence of alcohol and arrested for OVI. Debris on Columbia Rd. in Bay Village (including her car’s rear bumper) indicated
that she had hit two poles and then continued on southbound. She was also cited for BAC (.185 by breath).

An intoxicated 38-year-old Westlake woman wandered into a neighboring Bradley Rd. home at 3:20AM on March 11 and took a seat on the couch. After being told to leave repeatedly, she did so and was arrested nearby for DCI. The other homeowner did not wish to pursue trespassing charges.
