On 06/03/2013, at 0020 hrs, a BVPD officer was flagged down by a motorist who reported vandalism at the Reese Park basketball courts. Someone had thrown plastic bags, filled with feces, against the fence. The bags burst and expelled their contents onto the courts. Bay Village Service Department was advised for clean up.


On 06/04/2013, at 0929 hrs, a resident on Parkside Drive called to complain that someone keeps unscrewing light bulbs on exterior fixtures. This was determined to most likely be the result of a neighbor dispute and not a criminal event.


On 06/07/2013, at 0226 hrs, BVPD officers stopped two vehicles that appeared to be in a “road rage” incident on Lake Rd. near Dover Center Rd. The 23 year old male operator of the first vehicle was stopped, and after testing arrested for OVI. The second vehicle was also stopped. The 20-year-old driver was found to be driving under suspension and had two arrest warrants issued by other agencies. A 19-year-old female passenger had been drinking and was charged with underage alcohol prohibitions.


On 06/10/2013, at 0010 hrs, a BVPD officer attempted to stop a Toyota RAV-4 on Lake Rd. near Dover Center for a traffic violation. A second vehicle stopped immediately and while explaining to the driver that he could continue on the officer noted the strong smell of marijuana coming from the inside of the Toyota 4-Runner. It was determined that the two drivers were traveling together and after testing both were arrested for OVI and various drug charges.
