Artists reception marks end of CFA exhibit

Ursula Ryan, who was awarded First Place honors in photography at the 2013 Community of Fine Arts Juried Exhibition, was congratulated by Westlake-Westshore Board Members Marge Widmar and Robert Scarr.

A “Meet the Artists” reception was held on the final day of the 14th annual Community of Arts Juried Exhibition, August 17. A large crowd attended the well planned event.

The Westlake-Westshore Arts Councilsponsors CFA, an annual event which is offered free to the community.

Patt Long, WWAC president, warmly welcomed the gathering.

Jean Povinelli has organized the CFA from its beginning 14 year ago. At the reception, she presented an original and entertaining slide presentation on art history.
