Alzheimer’s Association to Hold Dementia Care Training in Fairview Park

alzheimer's logo_alzAvon, OH, November 21, 2013 – On December 11, the Alzheimer’s Association Cleveland Area Chapter will offer a day long dementia care training session at the Fairview Park Senior Center.  Program is for family and professionals caregivers to gain educational tools for their caregiver journey.   The training program will include the following topics:

·         Overview of Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders

·         Effective Communication Techniques

·         Ideas for Engaging People with cognitive programs in Activities

·         Techniques for Managing Challenging Behaviors
