First Federal of Lakewood and Westlake High School teamed  up to host the 2nd annual Art Show at  the First Federal Lakewood Branch at 24441 Detroit Road. Customers were asked to vote on their favorite piece of art created by the Westlake Students.

Many voters found it hard to decide on the winners. 43 Westlake students took part! Tom Fraser, President and CEO of First Federal of Lakewood, welcomed participants to an awards reception Dec. 4.

“The talent these young adults posses is amazing; hard to believe they are in high school,” said Branch Manager Marie Marrali.  “Thank you to all of our 43 students and the Westlake High School Art Department for making it a success and to all our customers who took the time to vote.”

First place went to  Kacie Frindt, second to Thome Ruesser and 3rd place winner was Taylor Salomone.

In reality, all participants were winners,  including reception attendees (pictured) Jennifer Penegor, Kacie Frindt, Melissa Djohan, Kylie Hulver, Emily Pavlonis, Austin Paulenske, Bodera Ali, Jennifer Penegor, Samuel Peplin, Kelsea Patterson, Brittany Gulla and Grace Karalanus, Thome Reusser, Jessy Niu, Elisa Khawam, Kalahan Patterson and Haley Ward.

Thank you to all who participated and voted, and to First Federal Lakewood – all committed to community!
