WWAC fundraiser bolsters Arts Scholarship Fund

Earth's Surface

All proceeds from the Westlake-Westshore Arts Council’s second annual spring fundraiser “Festa di Primavera 2” on Sunday, April 27, will benefit the Council’s Student Arts Scholarship Endowment Fund.

Reflecting last year’s sold out event, “Festa di Primavera 2” (Spring Celebration and Feast), will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at Daddona’s Fine Italian Restaurant, 29580 Center Ridge Road, Westlake. Spring colors and Italian flavors will blend and be enhanced by the dinner music of Harpist Cecilia Ilg McKay.

All are invited to enjoy an Italian feast with friends, meet new friends, and participate in auctions and raffles, while supporting the WWAC’s commitment to provide a scholarship fund designed to provide monetary scholarships to students pursuing a higher education in the arts.

Seating is limited and tickets, now on sale, are still available until April 11 (The 2013 event sold out early.)  Event tickets are $50 each, $25 is tax-deductible. Personal and business sponsorships are welcome.  For information about tickets and/or sponsorship for the April 27 fundraiser contact Betty Lou Curatolo at 440-835-5600, westshore@ameritech.net or go to the WWAC website www.w-wac.org

The WWAC, which is celebrating its 30th Anniversary Year, deserves support. It has proven its dedication and funding of art in all forms, for all ages.
