Westlake Man Arrested For Sex Crime

66-year-old Joseph SCHERMA of Westlake was arrested on May 2 for a sex offense involving a male juvenile relative, report Westlake Police. The victim and his parents reported the incident on April 24; it occurred in February at the suspect’s home. The Avon High boys track team captured the West Shore Conference championships held at Rocky River last week with 195.5 points to easily outdistance runner up North Ridgeville a 116.
