Mercy Receives National Recognition for Patient Safety and Value

Mercy Regional Medical Center has been recognized by Premier, Inc. for reducing preventable hospital-acquired conditions (HACs), as part of the federal Partnership for Patients initiative.  Mercy Allen Hospital was also recognized by Premier, Inc. with a QUEST® Award for High-value Healthcare Citation of Merit for delivering high-quality, cost-effective healthcare.

Mercy Regional Medical Center is one of the 35 hospitals in the nation to be honored with a Citation of Merit for the Premier Partnership for Patients Award for early success in reaching its reduction goals in preventable admissions and HACs.

Mercy Allen Hospital was one of only 61 hospitals to receive a Citation of Merit for achieving top performance in any four of the six areas measured in Premier’s QUEST collaborative, including harm, mortality, readmissions, costs, patient experience and evidence-based care.
