Mercy and T3 Performance are proud to announce a new partnership that will bring Mercy’s Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Services onsite to the Avon athletic complex by opening a clinic within the T3 facility.
T3 Performance is Lorain County’s premier sports training center, featuring a 30,000 square foot performance training facility and comprehensive athletic coaching and lessons in baseball, softball, football, volleyball and lacrosse. 10,000 square feet of the sports complex is dedicated to speed and explosive strength performance. 20,000 square footage is open turf space for teams to practice, conduct lessons or functional training. Mercy will be making it easier for athletes of all ages and performance levels to access the care they need, including wellness and injury prevention education, complimentary injury screenings, walk-in appointments and rehabilitation using the same equipment they use to train – helping them get back into the game quicker and better prepared. In particular, athletes will have access to the Woodway ELG, a high-speed treadmill that allows athletes to better reach goals, and Vertimax trainers to help athletes advance their vertical jumps.
Additional services of Mercy’s Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation program include: ACL injury prevention program, Video gait analysis, Video throwing analysis, Functional movement screening, Integrative dry needling, a technique used in physical therapy practice to treat trigger points in muscles and soft tissue techniques, and Concussion screening and treatment, in collaboration with the certified vestibular therapists at the Mercy Health and Recreation Center
