A Ford F250 truck and a trailer loaded with landscaping equipment were stolen from a Canterbury Rd. company on the night of August 4, report Westlake Police.
It was located on Train Ave. by Cleveland PD on August 5 and two Cleveland men (Daniel GRABLOVIC 29 years old and Willie FARLEY 50 years old) were arrested by WPD. They also stole air compressors and other property that same night from a Bassett Rd. roofing company; those items were recovered at FARLEY’s home as well.
This is not FARLEY’s first Westlake rodeo; he was arrested in 2012 for similar crimes here. His preference for purloined lawn and garden tools was still fresh in our minds, and his criminal partnership with GRABLOVIC from those times was also duly recalled.
Both are charged with B&E and Felony Theft. FARLEY’s criminal record extends back to 1991 and includes numerous convictions for felony theft, B&E, RSP, Passing Bad Checks, Agg. Theft; he has been in and out of the Ohio prison system. Common Pleas Ct. documents also refer to Federal cases against him.
GRABLOVIC is, relatively speaking, a dabbler in crime; his record begins in 2007 and includes RSP-Motor Vehicle, Burglary, Felony Fleeing, Grand Theft, Grand Theft-Motor Vehicle, Probation Violation, and B&E. He also has done time in the Ohio prison system.
Both are in the Westlake City Jail and will be renewing their recent happy memories of county jail after they decide if they want a preliminary hearing or not.
