Interested in preschool but think you can’t afford it? The Lorain County Early Learning Center, part of the Educational Service Center of Lorain County, 12079 LaGrange Road, LaGrange, is currently accepting applications for preschool enrollment. For students that are four years of age, there is a sliding fee option based on income. Several slots are still available for the sliding fee option for families who qualify.
The Early Learning Center is a preschool program designed for children ages 3-5. Several openings are available in the morning and afternoon sessions.
The program serves an equal mix of typically developing children and children with special needs. The typically developing children, referred to as Peer Models, are an integral part of the preschool program as they demonstrate age appropriate communications, planning and self-help skills while learning.
The Lorain County Early Learning Center, part of the Educational Service Center of Lorain County, is staffed by teachers licensed by the Ohio Department of Education and follows a developmentally appropriate and multi-sensory curriculum aligned with the State of Ohio’sEarly Learning Content Standards.
The preschool is open to anyone in Lorain County.
