It’s Homecoming Time in Avon!

AVON EAGLES LOGO_RGBThe annual parade will begin at Avon High School at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 22 and travel east down Detroit Road to Stoney Ridge Road ending at Joe Firment Stadium, 3075 Stoney Ridge Road. A powderpuff football game will take place at the stadium after the parade. Motorists are reminded the roads in the area will be closed during the parade which will last approximately one hour.

The Avon Eagles football team takes on the Westlake Demons at 7 p.m. Sept. 23 at Joe Firment Stadium.

The Homecoming dance is Sept. 24 at the high school in the evening. The theme for the dance is “Welcome to the Jungle.”

Homecoming Spirit Week is Sept. 19 – 23.  Here are the following themes at the high school: Monday is Pajama Day; Tuesday is Tractor Tuesday, wear country apparel. Students may drive their tractor to school; Wednesday is Prep Day, wear preppy clothes; Thursday is Hawaiian Day; and Friday will be Class Colors Day.
