Food Truck Friday at Bay Village City Hall: Thank you to all those who came for the first Food Truck Friday. It was such a success they sold out long before 2 p.m. The City has advised the rest of the trucks on the schedule to be prepared for a crowd! Come Friday, June 23 for Sauced Wood Fired Pizza Truck from Fairview Park from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.! Food Truck will be parked on the west side of City Hall. Polka Fest Luncheon Fundraiser: Friday, June 23 at 12 noon, Dwyer Senior Center. Fill up on a delicious barbequed Brats and Sauerkraut meal and get your toes tapping to the sounds of the Polka Pirates! The pirates are one of Cleveland’s finest dance bands and a crowd favorite. All styles of Polkas and Waltzes, Standards, Big Band Country, Irish and even a little Rock & Roll. Come and dance, sing, smile and enjoy – great food, great people, great fun, great band. This is a fundraiser for the Senior Center with a registration limit of 70 people. $5.00. RSVP 835-6565.

Bay Village Green Team Waterways Clean-up: Tuesday, June 27 from 7 – 9 p.m. Volunteers are needed to help clean up along the banks of Sperry Creek. Dress appropriately. Garbage bags and recycling bags will be provided. Please bring gloves or tools you wish to use. Invite your friends! For the adults joining, we will be meeting at Ironwood after for drinks. Meet in the parking lot of Reese Park on Clague Parkway.

Tuesday, July 4: 8:30 a.m. – Bay Days 5-Mile Run and Kids 1 Mile Fun Run, traditional course at Bay High School for the 5-Mile Run, Kid’s 1-Mile Fun Run starts at the 5 mile start line; 11:30 a.m. – Children’s Bike, Trike and Wagon Parade – meet at the Gazebo; 12 Noon – 10:30 p.m. – Booths and rides open; 12 Noon – 4 p.m. – $18 One Price ticket for all rides; 12 Noon – Magic Show in the Community House; 2 p.m. – Vintage Baseball Games at south end of Cahoon Park – Villagers Vintage Baseball Club vs Whiskey Island Shamrocks; 6:30 p.m. – Live music at the Gazebo – Sloppy Joe Band; 9:45 p.m. – GALA FIREWORKS DISPLAY (Rain date Wednesday, July 5)
