Fundraiser Concert: Raisin Canes- August 4: 2-3:30 p.m.: Vaudeville variety show performed by 20 seniors ages 60-90 from The Smallwood Activities Center (formerly Parma Senior Center). The show will be at Field’s United Methodist Church 34077 Lorain Rd. the doors open at 1:30 p.m. Advance tickets are available for $5 at the Senior Center prior to the August 4th show, and tickets at the door are $7. Tea Party to Go, September 1: 1-2 p.m.: Emerald Necklace Tea Room & Inn will host an afternoon of tea tastings, scones with Devonshire cream, tea sandwiches and dessert. This will include an explanation of teas, how to cook with tea and the flavoring of teas. Cost for the afternoon is $20, to place reservation call 353-0828. Blood Pressure: Third Wednesday of every month 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Walk-ins first come, first serve.
Exercise Class: Meets on Mondays from 9 to 9:50 a.m. The cost is $15 per month; items needed for class are 3# weights, stretch bands and a bottle of water.
