Macedonian Festival

Nothing says summer like a good, old-fashioned ethic festival. The annual Macedonian Fest was held on the grounds of St. Clement of Ohrid, Macedonian Orthodox Church on French Creek Rd. in Avon the last weekend of July. It featured the tasty flavors of Macedonia, the music, the dancing and traditional Macedonian kebobs, chicken pita folds, country meat, and delicious homemade baklava & other sweets.

This is one of the largest Church Festivals in Avon, showcasing Macedonian community from the greater Cleveland area. This annual family event is attended by thousands that come from all corners of Ohio and as far as Detroit and Buffalo. Attendees look forward to feasting on the most delicious Macedonian cuisine, pastries and wines as live Macedonian music fills the air and “Oro” line dancers provide entertainment. Everyone is Macedonian this weekend!
