Bay Internet Customer Goes Rogue

Some problems can drive you up a tree. Others can drive you up a pole.

That was the case as a Bay Village internet subscriber went rogue last week after frustration over service motivated him to climb a utility pole and initiate DIY repairs on the lines.

Bay Police report the incident occurred on Nov. 18. A resident in the 28000 block of Osborn called to report one of her neighbors was up on a ladder at a utility pole across the street messing with the lines.

Officers on scene discovered the homeowner, who worked from home, was having internet problems.  His internet provider was unable to come out prior to Monday and he needed service to work, so he took it upon himself to fix the problem.  He was advised.
