UPDATE: A Third Egg is in the Nest!

UPDATE: A third egg has been spotted in the nest at Redwood Elementary in Avon Lake. The egg was laid approximately around 7 p.m. Saturday night. Check the live feed at: here or click the video below.

The eagles at Redwood Elementary in Avon Lake laid another egg last night (Feb. 28) around 6:30 p.m. Keep watching…there could be another soon.

Eagles usually lay 2-3 eggs – and they lay them 2-3 days apart – so we could have more. The egg(s) usually takes 36-38 days to hatch. According to calculations, we would have eaglets the first week of April.
