Rocky River High School Drama Department Presents ‘Monty Python’s Spamalot’

The Rocky River High School Drama Department presents “Monty Python’s Spamalot,” based on the movie “Monty Python and the Holy Grail.”

The story is based on the 1975 movie, as King Arthur and his Knights encounter many of the same silly obstacles, such as the Black Knight, French Taunters and Knights Who Say Ni. The production stays true to much of the style of the movie but adds the flair and music of a Broadway show.

About 80 students are working on the production as cast, crew and orchestra. This show also allows for audience participation, so some members of the audience may also become cast members.

The play will be held Thursday, March 22, Friday, March 23, and Saturday, March 24, at 7 pm each night in the RRHS auditorium. Tickets are $5 for students, $10 for adults, and free for senior citizens and children 5 and under. Tickets can be purchased at the door, or ahead of time by calling 440.356.6800 or email garver.jennifer@rrcs.org.
