It’s all about family at Century 21 DeAnna Realty.
It always has been, starting with founder Mike DeAnna’s Ohio Family Realty back in 2002.
Since becoming Century 21 DeAnna Realty in the spring of 2017, the company has grown dramatically while investing continually in the core values the DeAnna family brought to the marketplace from the start.
“We are a growing company,” says Tony DeAnna, Mike’s son, who now serves as Director of Business Development. “Yes, we have a big, brand name. But we are still family oriented, family run and have a family atmosphere.”
In fact, the DeAnnas are out to grow their family!
“We purchased the Century 21 franchise in the spring of 2017 and Tony was named Director of Business Development. His role shifted from one of primarily sales to that of recruiting, training and retention of new agents. Since that time he has done a fantastic job and has increased the size of our company to from 3 to approximately 30 agents,” reports Mike.
“We opened a new 1,000 square foot education and training facility on site. Tony’s training calendar includes 8-12 monthly events demonstrating how individual agents can increase their business.”
“We have all the big, brand name tools and technologies, but we are still the DeAnna family,” says Tony. “It is the best of both worlds.”
Representatives who join the company are finding the kind of in-house support you would expect from family. “We want more agents and we are focused on growing the company. The focus is on agent success. “We offer support. That is our promise to our agents,” says Tony. “A lot of people promise that, but not a lot of people deliver on that. We do. And that is how we have gone from 3 agents to 30.”
Incentives include a no-fee guarantee, high commission splits and ongoing training. “We offer classes every week,” reports Tony. “There is in-office training and also online training through Century 21 University.
Classes at the DeAnna Training Center include subjects like lead generation, social media marketing and more. There is also an esprit de corps that comes from company socials like company cook-outs, happy hours and even a party bus to the Jack!
“We offer one on one coaching as part of our support,” says Tony. “We will meet with agents, discuss their progress and help them meet their goals and let them know what incentives may be within reach. We believe in team-building approaches.
“We can take the tools and the tech and align it with the follow-through of training and support to help our agents succeed. We have one agent who just got her license at the end of last year and she is on pace to sell 20 homes this year. She comes to the training, we show her what to do and she sells homes. To me, that’s exciting.
“But, it is not about me. It is about the agents. If the agents are successful, the company is successful. And that is what we focus on.”
