The Westlake Police Department and Crocker Park teamed up to host a National Night Out event like none other in the City of Westlake!
All were welcomed to come to Market Square and meet neighbors, as well as members of our Westlake safety services and other City departments on Tuesday, Oct. 5.
It was a wonderful event for all ages. There were K-9 demonstrations, vehicle displays, activities, vendors and a chance to learn more about programs and services offered by the City’s departments of Community Services and Recreation, respectively.
More information can be found via the City’s Facebook pages. #WPDNationalNightOut
What is NNO?
National Night Out is an annual event celebrated across the country that’s designed to strengthen our communities by encouraging neighborhoods to engage in stronger relationships with each other and with their local law enforcement partners.
The Goal is to heighten crime-prevention awareness, build support and participation in local anti-crime programs, and send a message that our neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
Together we are making communities safer, more caring places to live!
