A ceremony honoring the Bay Village Citizen of the Year, Patrick McGannon, and Project of the Year, the revitalization of the Rose Hill Museum, will take place on Saturday, July 16, 2 p.m. at Cahoon Memorial Park. If the weather cooperates, a brief ceremony will be held next to the creek by the Cahoon memorial log cabin.
If rain and/or heat are a concern, the historical society has offered to put up canopies in front of Rose Hill Museum.
Bay Village Community Council will provide light refreshments. The Rose Hill Museum, Osborn Learning Center and Cahoon memorial cabin will be open for tours, as well as the Village Bicycle Cooperative.
The historical society will also be taking orders for the popular embroidered Bay-logoed baseball-style caps. The first order sold out quickly, and more are due shortly.
