The Lorain County Community College EMS program completed its most recent round of Trauma Training on Friday, April 18 in the parking lot of LCCC University Partnership Ridge Campus, 32121 Lorain Road, North Ridgeville. Training included a staged area in the parking lot of wrecked cars.
Students can begin this exciting and rewarding career by becoming certified as an EMT in as little as one semester at Lorain County Community College. They may then further their education and become a paramedic in one year, or may choose to further their education beyond LCCC through the University Partnership or transfer programs. LCCC offers education that leads to certification for the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Paramedic Levels.
