Olmsted Falls Garden Club Announces Annual Plant Sale

The Olmsted Falls Garden Club is proud to announce its Annual Plant Sale, scheduled for Sunday, May 4, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 26184 Bagley Road, Olmsted Falls, Ohio.

This highly anticipated community event offers gardening enthusiasts the opportunity to purchase locally grown perennials and herbs specifically selected for Northeast Ohio’s growing conditions. All plants are perfect for hardiness zones 6 and 6A, ensuring they will thrive in local gardens.

“Our annual plant sale has become a beloved tradition in Olmsted Falls,” said Megan Vogias, spokesperson for the Olmsted Falls Garden Club. “We’re excited to offer a wide variety of perennial plants that not only add vibrant colors to gardens but also attract important pollinators like hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies.”

A highlight of this year’s sale is the 2025 Limited Edition Daylily, ‘Olmsted Raspberry Parfait.’ This stunning bright raspberry red daylily with a lighter pinkish halo and green throat was grown and donated by Dave Winter of An Olmsted Daylily Garden. Standing 34 inches tall with 6.75-inch blooms, it features 14 buds on 3 branches and is available for $25 each, with all proceeds benefiting the garden club.

For those eager to secure the best selection, an online pre-sale is available at olmstedfallsgardenclub.com/shop. Customers who spend $25 or more online will have exclusive early access to the sale on May 3 from 2:30-4:30 PM. The online store features custom-curated collections of perennials and herbs by one of our founding members Barb Hyrmer and our co-president Shirley Swindell.

The Olmsted Falls Garden Club, an affiliate member of the Holden Forests & Gardens, for over thirty years had been dedicated to enhancing and preserving the natural beauty of the Olmsted Community through gardening education and community service.
