Established in 2024 during LCCC’s 60th anniversary, the LCCC Commodore Hall of Fame recognizes and celebrates alumni who have made significant contributions to their communities through their professional achievements or dedication to service—advancing LCCC’s vision to create a more vibrant community for all. With over 47,000 alumni making an impact, the Hall of Fame honors those whose lives exemplify the power of education and community commitment.
“Last year, the LCCC Foundation launched the Hall of Fame to recognize the extraordinary contributions of our alumni,” said LCCC President Marcia J. Ballinger, Ph.D. “I am so pleased to welcome a new cohort of outstanding graduates to our Hall of Fame in 2025. Their achievements serve as an inspiration to our students and community.”
Dr. Rebecca Starck, chair of the LCCC Foundation Board and co-chair of the Hall of Fame Selection Committee, expressed gratitude to those who submitted nominations.
“There are over 47,000 LCCC grads making a difference in their communities. I see their contributions every day and am humbled to be able to honor them,” Starck said.
Reflecting on the Hall of Fame’s launch, Ballinger added, “When we created this recognition, I was amazed by the inspiring stories of our alumni—some well-known and others newly discovered. These inductees are true examples of individuals who have reached far, stayed committed, and achieved their dreams. We proudly celebrate them as distinguished LCCC alumni.”
