Avon Football: 2013 Rewind

It was another great year to be an Avon High football player!

Winning its fourth West Shore Conference championship in a row and advancing to the Div. II Regional Finals, Avon had a year that will be cherished for a lifetime by the team’s players and coaches.

Going undefeated through the regular season at 10-0, the Eagles were 12-1 overall after losing by just three points to Medina Highland in the regional finals, 24-21.

“I love every kid in that locker room,” said Coach Mike Elder after the game. “I love our coaches. I thank all of our kids, our fans, our marching band, everyone who has been behind us. Avon’s a special place.”
