The United Methodist Women (UMW) of Bay United Methodist Church, 29931 Lake Road, Bay Village, invite you to join them for a special evening, Thursday, October 4 at 7 p.m. Jane Lewins will be speaking on suicide prevention with her talk entitled, “Talk Saves Lives.”
Jane is a licensed social worker certified in the Collaborative Approach to Managing Suicide and a Level I Child Trauma Specialist. Since the death of her son in 2011, Jane has been working tirelessly to open discussions about mental health and suicide, to educate and bring awareness to the subject of suicide, help create and pass legislation, and create supportive resources for survivors of suicide loss.
All are welcome to attend. A freewill offering will benefit both Suicide Prevention and the mission work of the UMW.
