Avon’s popular Easter Egg Hunt and breakfast presented by the French Creek Foundation returned to the community last Saturday after a two-year hiatus.
The much-anticipated event, once held at Avon Isle, was moved to the new Middle School to accommodate more guests this year.
French Creek Foundation President Clint Gault and Mayor Bryan Jensen welcomed the hundreds of kids in attendance. The breakfast, including pancakes, sausage, and beverage included fun activities and visits with the Easter Bunny while mom and dad take pictures. A coloring contest was also part of the fun.
The proceeds from this event are used to purchase flowers for the 24 cement planters French Creek Foundation installs along Detroit Road in Avon’s historic French Creek District and hanging floral baskets for the poles. Many thanks to the sponsors who made this day possible!
