What does 8,000 pounds of candy get you? A lot of happy kids!
The Westlake Town Criers 2022 Easter Egg Hunt and Candy Scramble was one of the best ever at the Westlake Recreation Center last Saturday as Westlake Giant Eagle donated 8,000 pounds of sweet treats to the event.
Kids participated in two candy scrambles for children 4-6 and 7-10. Kids under age 3 took part in a non-competitive Easter Egg Hunt.
A live, 6-foot bunny added to the fun, as did face painting courtesy of the Westlake High National Honors Society.
