Avon captured the 2022 SOUPer Bowl title for the fourth year in a row.
For the 4th year in a row, Avon was presented with the SOUPer Bowl Trophy at halftime of the Avon vs. Avon Lake varsity football game last Friday night! Both communities together collected 7,023 pounds of food and $16,901 bringing the total since the SOUPer Bowl’s first competition to 76,532 pounds of food and $150,922 in monetary donations!
“We are incredibly grateful for the support of the individuals, organizations, businesses and both school districts that donated or volunteered for the SOUPer Bowl!,” says CRS. “All proceeds go directly towards our mission of diminishing the effects of poverty in Avon and Avon Lake.”
The overall record of wins is tied at Avon Lake 6 – Avon 6.
