Avon Heritage Elementary School fifth-grader and member of the school’s Kids Who Care Club, Nathan Butkowski, helps decorate the front entrance at the Avon Oaks Nursing Home in Avon for the holidays.
Members of the Avon Heritage Elementary School Kids Who Care Club recently spent time demonstrating empathy and compassion by partnering with the Avon Oaks Nursing Home in Avon. The students created handmade holiday decorations to brighten up the common spaces at the nursing facility, and made holiday cards to bring joy to the residents’ hearts, reminding them they are loved.
