Princesses for a Day

On April 15th, local non-profit, The Fairytale Foundation, hosted their sold-out “Princess for a Day” fundraiser. Forty children arrived at the Bay Lodge costumed in their best princess dresses to spend the afternoon with their favorite storybook characters.

Fairies greeted guests with pixie dust and from there the magic continued with crafts, stories, games, hula dancing, and sing-alongs led by the volunteer cast of beloved princesses. Fun was had by guests & volunteers alike.

The Fairytale Foundation non-profit was founded in 2015 and has been working to serve its community ever since. Through their performances at birthday parties and community events. Fairytale has raised and donated more than $25,000 to children and families in Northeast Ohio.

This “Princess for a Day” fundraiser directly benefited The Fairytale Foundation. The money raised will help to keep operating costs covered and thus allow more of the money raised at traditional Fairytale events to be sent directly to those in need.
