UH St. John Medical Center was blessed with a beautiful fall day for its annual golf classic on Tuesday, October 3rd at Red Tail Golf Club. With 100 golfers in participation, the hospital was able to raise more than $50,000 for ongoing needs and capital expenses.
Since opening in 1981, University Hospitals St. John Medical Center has remained committed to providing the residents of western Cuyahoga and eastern Lorain counties with excellent health care in a faith-based Catholic hospital setting.
This year’s Presenting Sponsor was JACCO & Associates out of Hudson, Ohio.
Highlights of the day included 25 teams competing in 18 holes of golf, hole in one prizes, raffle prizes, and lunch. The day concluded with a fantastic cocktail hour with dinner on the patio. UH’s Community Outreach team was present to provide blood pressure and health screenings for all.
Other key sponsors included Dr. Rustom and Mary Khouri, Huntington Bank, Cerity Partners, Shook Construction, West Shore Osteopathic Foundation, and CBLH Design.
“Today was a great day for St John Medical Center,” said Wayne Nieman, Development Officer at UH St. John Medical Center, “all the money raised today goes directly towards forwarding our mission and serving our community. I’m so grateful for everyone that turned out and supported us”.
Taking home both 1st and 2nd prizes were foursomes from the Presenting Sponsor, Team JACCO.
