Westlake High was the scene of an important Wellness Fair on Tues., Feb. 27 from 11-1 in the main gymnasium.
A health and wellness fair at school is a great way to share information with students, staff, families and the community about healthy eating, physical activity, health services, and other local health and wellness resources. Plus, it’s an opportunity to build relationships with local businesses and community organizations, who may be able to provide ongoing support to your school health initiatives.
“We had a great time at the Westlake High Wellness Fair,” said Paul Forthofer, Director Community Outreach for UH St. John Medical Center.
The Fair focused on the many aspects of wellness and health, connecting students with resources and agencies that benefit all in the community. Here’s a look at the fun!
