Northeast Ohio Nurse Honor Guard opens UH SJMC’s Nurses Week ceremonies.
Nurses Week is always a highlight of the year at UH St. John Medical Center. The event was held this year on May 9 with an awards ceremony.
National Nurses Week begins each year on May 6th and ends on May 12th, Florence Nightingale’s birthday. Members of the Northeast Ohio Nurse Honor Guard opened the program with a short service that honored Nightingale and all others who follow in this time-honored profession. Chief Nursing Officer Shelly Loop also welcomed guests and introduced the nominees and winners in each Nurses Week Awards category.
