At the Avon Safety Fair

The City of Avon held its annual Safety Fair at the Aquatic Center last Saturday as hundreds of families came out to see fire trucks, police cars and other safety equipment as they toured a dozen or so displays from area resources promoting healthy and safe living.

Safety exhibits, car seat checks, bicycle helmet giveaways, free food, crafts, Kids IDs, and fun made the morning fly by. Over 40 vendors took part, including robotics from the Lorain County Sheriff’s Dept.
