Stocker Arts Center Kicks Off the 2025-2026 Performing Artists Series by Going UPTOWN

One of the most exhilarating live shows of the decade, UPTOWN brings an unforgettable night of music, movement, and pure energy to the Stocker Arts Center on the campus of Lorain County Community College at 7:30 p.m., Friday, October 10 in the Hoke Theatre.

UPTOWN is a powerhouse male vocal group born in the heart of New York City—the epicenter of contemporary pop and soul. Fusing Bruno Mars–level stage presence with top-tier vocals and wall-to-wall choreography, this collective brings together the timeless smoothness of classic R&B with the fresh sounds of today’s biggest hits, creating a one-of-a-kind concert experience that keeps every crowd on their feet.

Dynamically blending old-school soul and modern pop, UPTOWN combines the class of the young Temptations, the moves of the Jackson 5, and the high-octane energy of Bruno Mars, delivering a show that appeals to all ages. Tickets can also be purchased in-person at the box office located in the lobby of the Stocker Arts Center on the campus of Lorain County Community College, 1005 North Abbe Road, Elyria, OH 44035. The box office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.) Monday through Friday, and 60 minutes before curtain time.
