2025 Volleyball State Championship

Last week Avon High celebrated girls volleyball with the unveiling of their 2025 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP banner! Hanging proudly in the AHS gymnasium this banner will continue to celebrate this team for years to come. This is the first of the three state championship teams Avon is celebrating this school year with more banner unveiling to come! Stay tuned for football and boys soccer!

Reflecting About Martin Luther King, Jr.

Elementary students learned and reflected about Martin Luther King, Jr. They read Martin’s Big Words and did a handprint craft where they wrote a positive way they could change the world.

Shrek the Musical

The PAC stage is teeming with fairytale creatures! Avon High drama students are busy rehearsing for their upcoming performance of Shrek the Musical! Save the date: March 6-8, 2026 and stay tuned for more info!

Eagles Helping in the Community!

When Avon Local Schools are out… these Avon Ohio Little League kids show up in a different way.

On a day off from classes, this awesome group chose to spend their morning giving back and supporting neighbors in need. They dated and sorted food, and separated and bagged laundry detergent and toilet paper at Avon/Avon Lake Community Resource Services – CRS!  Proof that kindness doesn’t take a day off!

Avon Boys and Girls swim teams defeat Midview Elyria and Lake. Congratulations on a Great Day! Next up…The SWC championships at Cleveland State on Saturday! Go Eagles!
