Avon Students are 101 days smarter! Mrs. Krupka’s class had a very special visitor help celebrate this milestone. Mrs. Segul’s students are 101 days smarter and celebrated Dalmatian style! Avon East was filled with 101 dalmatians to celebrate 101 days of school!
Avon High School Dance Team Honored
Avon High School dance team was honored at a basketball game earlier this month. Congratulations again to all the dancers for their STATE CHAMPION titles in both JAZZ and GAME DAY!
Avon Chamber Orchestra Receives Superior Ratings
Over the weekend Avon High School Chamber Orchestra received superior (I) ratings at the OMEA Orchestra competition. They performed the 4th movement of Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, the first two movements of Grieg’s Holberg Suite, and Ravel’s (arranged by Law) Bolero for Strings. Congratulations to our talented students and to their director Jesse Martin!
Roller Coaster Project
The roller coaster project is something students look forward to every year at Avon Middle School! They get to create and build as teams and make some pretty fantastic coasters!

Avon High Academic Challenge
The AHS Academic Challenge Team did it again! They won the High School Scholastic Games in a rematch with Black River High School. Congratulations to members Jackson Cellura, Isabella Gigliotti and captain Mark Carney. Mark was also awarded the program’s “Standout Scholar Award” for his contributions. Way to SOAR!
Avon Football Honored
Back-to-back football state champions were honored at the Ohio Statehouse! They were recognized by our State Senators and House of Representatives!

Congratulations Avon High Winter Guard
Congratulations to AHS Winter Guard for coming in FIRST PLACE at their very first competition of the season! Their show is called “The Stories Inside” and they next compete at Firestone HS in Akron on February 28th. Great job to the Winter Guard!
