Westlake Eagle Scout

March 16, 2026, marked WHS Senior Dylan Hunter’s official City of Westlake Proclamation Day as he received his Eagle Scout Badge. As a member of Troop #225, Dylan gave back to our community through his Eagle Scout Service Project by building a flag retirement box, now located at the Porter Public Library.

His commitment to service goes beyond high school. After graduation, Dylan will attend the Rochester Institute of Technology on a NROTC scholarship with future plans to serve as a United States Naval Officer.
