The League of Women Voters of Lorain County Announces a Public Forum on Avon Lake Power Plant Redevelopment (April 22 at 7pm)

The League of Women Voters of Lorain County presents a public forum on the Redevelopment of the Avon Lake Power Plant. This free event is open to the public. It will be held on Wednesday, April 22, at 7 pm at the Avon Lake Library (Waugaman Gallery), 32649 Electric Blvd, Avon Lake, OH 44012.

An informational presentation by Avon Lake City Mayor Mark Spaetzel and Ted Esborn (Community Development Director) on recent updates and plans for the redevelopment of the Avon Lake Power Plant will be followed by a panel discussion with Scott Reschly (President of Charah Environmental Redevelopment), Todd Davis (Environmental Attorney, City of Avon Lake), and Kayla Goodwin (Avon Lake City Council-At-Large, Environmental Committee Chair). Questions for the panelists will be invited and collected through notecards.

This is a nonpartisan event. Light refreshments will be provided. Donations to the League of Women Voters of Lorain County are optional and welcome.
