Inviting Seniors to Attend the Free 10th Annual Living in the Digital World Senior Expo & Conference at Tri-C Westshore Campus

Keeping seniors connected and learning through digital literacy is the theme of the 10th Annual Living in the Digital World Senior Expo & Conference set for Thursday, May 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This year’s expo will be held at the Tri-C Westshore Campus located at 31001 Clemens Road, Westlake 44145. This new location celebrates 10 years of free digital discovery for seniors.

Seniors, along with their families and caregivers, are invited to this free expo and conference to discover the many resources available to help them stay connected and continue learning through digital literacy. Highlights include a workshop on Practical AI for Older Adults, a panel discussion on the importance of estate planning for digital assets, and raffle prizes.

Presented by the Center for Aging in the Digital World, led by co-founders Tak and Mely Sato, this free day out for seniors will feature engaging exhibits focused on services for older adults. There will be people on-hand from a variety of organizations and businesses who are delighted to talk with seniors about their needs and how they can assist in making their lives more enjoyable.

During the special workshop designed to introduce seniors to “their new personal AI assistants,” Tak Sato will share how to use a web browser on a smartphone or tablet to access the big three AI chatbots “to unlock your own personal researcher.” This year’s panel discussion will enlighten seniors on the topic of digital estate planning and why including your digital assets is so essential.

The expo opens at 9:30 a.m. with light refreshments, followed by the AI digital learning workshop at 10:15 a.m. Mid-day snacks and more time to visit exhibitors is at 11 a.m. The conference concludes with the panel on Digital Asset Estate Planning: How to Legally Protect Your Digital Footprint at 12:30 pm.
