This summer, Lorain County Community College is making it easier than ever for individuals to gain in-demand skills and enter the workforce faster through special short-term summer Fast Track programs.
Designed for those looking to make the most of the summer months, these accelerated programs allow students to start and complete select credentials within a single semester. Whether beginning a new career, changing paths or building additional skills, participants can take advantage of streamlined training aligned with industry needs.
Available programs for the summer semester include:
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
- Computer Diagnostics & CompTIA A+ Certification Preparation
- Data Analytics
- Entry-Level Machining Technician
- Welding Technology – AWS-3F Certification Preparation
- Insurance
Due to the accelerated format, space in these programs is limited and expected to fill quickly. Summer classes begin on May 26.
Students can earn a Fast Track credential and quickly enter the workforce or continue at LCCC to build additional skills. For those who choose to keep going, Fast Track credits seamlessly stack into high-demand career pathways, making it easy for students to advance their education with additional certificates and degrees.
