Entries due August 31 — the top three homes each win a $100 gift card to a local restaurant
The City of Westlake is marking America’s 250th anniversary with a community-wide Most Patriotic House Decorating Contest, inviting residents to deck out their homes in red, white, and blue in honor of the milestone.
To enter, residents decorate the exterior of their home with patriotic décor and submit photos through the City’s online entry form by August 31.
Mayor Dennis M. Clough will review all eligible entries and select the top three “Most Patriotic” homes in Westlake. Winning homes will be featured on the City’s website and Facebook page, and each will receive a $100 gift card to one of three local restaurants: Stella Mia, AJ’s Urban Grill, or Stonehouse Grill.
“We’re excited to see our neighborhoods light up in red, white, and blue as we celebrate 250 years of America’s history,” said Mayor Dennis M. Clough. “This contest is a fun way for families, friends, and neighbors to come together and show their Westlake pride.”
Residents can enter at cityofwestlake.org/forms/celebrate-americas-250th-patriotic-house-decoratingentry. Submissions are open now through August 31.
