KICK-OFF SUMMER AT CROCKER PARK’S FUN FREE COMMUNITY BLOCK PARTY
Save the Date for the Touch-A-Truck Event of the year: Sunday June 9th
The spirit of summer comes alive once again as Crocker Park proudly announces the return of its highly anticipated community extravaganza, the 4th Annual Crocker Park Block Party focusing on the City of Westlake’s Police, Fire and more with their interactive vehicle displays for all to enjoy. Sponsored by Aqua-Tots, this day-long celebration promises an unforgettable experience for all ages. Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 9, and get ready to join the festivities at your neighborhood block party, where there’s something for everyone to enjoy – and it’s all free!
Kicking off the festivities around 9:30 AM is the Crocker Bark 5K & 1-Mile Walk, proudly sponsored by Elite K-911. Starting from 292 Main Street – across from World Market, participants, alongside their leashed four-legged companions, will embark on a journey through the heart of Westlake. A portion of the registration proceeds will be dedicated to supporting the City of Westlake’s K9 Unit. Following the race, at 10:30 AM, attendees will have the exciting opportunity to witness the Westlake K9 Unit in action during their thrilling demonstration on the lawn outside of Market Square.
From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the Crocker Park Block Party will be in full swing, transforming Main Street and Crocker Park Blvd. into bustling hubs of excitement and entertainment. Highlights of the event include:
- Touch-A-Truck Experience: Explore Westlake’s Police Cruisers, SWAT vehicles, bomb squad, command post truck, Fire trucks, ambulances, and more.
- Meet & Greet with the Westlake Police Department & Fire Department
- Safety Seminars and Interactive Sessions with Westlake PD
- K-9 Demonstrations: Scheduled at 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, and 1:30 PM.
- Realm of Reptile hands-on reptile meet and greets
- Real Pop Fusion dance parties
- Splash Pad play time!
- Cleveland Monsters games
- Artistic Delights: Face painting & balloon twisting.
- Creative Expression: Unleash your imagination at Sherwin Williams’ sidewalk chalk zones.
- Vendors & Exhibitors: Discover a diverse array of offerings.
