Westlake United Methodist Church Christmas Celebrations

Westlake United Methodist Church (UMC) is excited to invite the community to join us in a variety of heartwarming Christmas celebrations. Here are details of the events:

Nativity Fest

• Date and Time: December 13, 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM
• Highlights: Featuring a camel, a donkey, and other live animals of Christmas, carol singing, cookie decorating, face painting, and handbell ringing. Experience a live nativity show at 7 PM. This free event is a wonderful way to engage the whole family in the spirit of the season.

Christmas Cantata: ‘Glory to the Newborn King’ by Lloyd Larson

• Date and Time: December 21, 10 AM
• Performance Details: The Chancel Choir and Chamber Orchestra will perform this moving cantata, featuring two narrators and eight anthems. This performance blends celebratory and contemplative moments and marks the cantata’s debut in northeast Ohio.

Christmas Eve Services – December 24

• Candlelight Service: 1 PM, an uplifting experience for those wanting an earlier worship option
• Family Candlelight Service: 5 PM, with active participation by children for a joyful and inclusive experience
• Evening Candlelight Service: 9 PM, featuring the Chancel Choir and offering an inspiring and meaningful way to welcome Christmas
