Bay Village Police Blotter Jan. 7, 2013

On 01/03/2013, at 1756 hrs, BVPD responded to the 24000 block of East Oakland for an ongoing neighbor dispute.  Mary Barringer (24433) called to report her neighbor, Gayle Fisher (24429), was throwing snow onto Barringer’s car that was parked in her driveway.  She also reported that Fisher was on her property behind the garage in the woods.  Barringer stated they all had court earlier in the day regarding various charges for the ongoing dispute, and the Judge told them all to stay away from each other.  After investigating, Fisher was cited for Disorderly Conduct.  She will face charges at RRMC.  Additional calls were received from neighbors of the next few days regarding the Barringer’s conduct and behavior.   All parties were advised.
On 01/05/2013, at 1653 hrs, a Lincolnshire resident called BVPD to report her home had been burglarized while she was out.  Cash appeared to be the only thing missing.  Police are investigating.
On 01/04/2013, at 1719 hrs, a 1719 hrs, a Meadow Lane resident called BVPD to report that her bank advised her someone had opened up an account in her name and defrauded $8,000 from the bank.  Police are investigating.
On 01/04/2013, at 1300 hrs, a Manchester Lane resident called to report someone had entered her unlocked garage and ransacked the inside of her car overnight.  She was only missing $2.00 from inside her vehicle.
On 01/04/2013, at 0830 hrs, a Manchester resident called to report approximately $80.00 in change was stolen from her unlocked cars overnight.

On 01/02/2013, at 1608 hrs, a Dwight resident called to report someone attempted to break into his house while he was away.  Entry was not gained and nothing appeared to be missing.
On 01/01/2013, at 0228 hrs, a BVPD officer stopped a vehicle on Wolf Rd. near the fire station for speeding.  The vehicle was travelling 69 mph in a 35 mph zone.  The driver indicated he was on his way to BVPD to file a domestic violence report for an incident that occurred at his house.  As the officer was speaking with the 53 yoa male, the officer suspected the driver had been drinking.  Field sobriety tests were administered, and as a result, the male was arrested for OVI.  An officer responded to the residence and took a report for the domestic incident and the prosecutor is reviewing the case.  The male driver will face charges for the OVI at RRMC.
